What we will have ready for you

Tell us what you are celebrating and we will have a flower waiting at the table. Or a candle, if that feels more like them.

It is a small thing, but we like doing it.

If you would like it to be a surprise, say so when you message us and we will have everything set before you arrive.

Date nights and anniversaries

An evening for two that is not another dinner. Two seats at the table, clay between your hands, and a couple of hours that belong to no one else. A proposal, a first anniversary, or no occasion at all.

If you would rather have the studio to yourselves, we can arrange that. Quiet weekday slots are the easiest to hold.

Birthdays and bigger tables

We seat up to twenty at the studio, and birthdays are the booking we take most often. Ceramic painting suits a mixed table best — children from about four can join with an adult alongside, and nobody has to keep pace with anyone else.

If you would like the table dressed for the occasion, we can arrange that too. Tell us what you have in mind.

Choose what you would like to make

Workshops start at AED 110 per person. Message us with the date and we will put something together.

A week of notice

A week gives us time to prepare the flower or the candle and to keep the right slot free for you. If your date is closer than that, message us anyway — we would rather try than turn you away.

Taking your pieces home

Pottery is fired twice and glazed in between, so finished pieces are ready about two to three weeks later. We message you as soon as they come out of the kiln. If you would like to leave holding something the same evening, the candle workshop is the one.

Common questions

Can you host a birthday party at the studio?

Yes, and it is the booking we take most often. We seat up to twenty at the studio in Sheikh Khalifa City. Ceramic painting usually suits a mixed table best, because children from about four can join with an adult alongside and nobody has to keep pace with anyone else. Tell us the date and how many are coming.

Can we have the studio to ourselves?

Often, yes. A quiet weekday slot is much easier to hold than a busy weekend evening. Message us with the date you have in mind and we will tell you what is possible.

We are planning a proposal. Can you help?

Yes. Tell us when you are coming and what you would like waiting on the table, and we will have it set before you walk in. We will keep it between us.

Is this a good date night in Ras Al Khaimah?

We think so, although we are biased. It is quieter than dinner, you are not looking at a screen or across a crowded room, and you both leave with something. Tell us what you are celebrating and there will be a flower on the table when you sit down.

Can we make flowers instead of clay?

Yes. Alongside the clay workshops we also run fresh flower bouquet making, where you choose your own stems and build a bouquet to carry home. Mention it when you message us and we will arrange it for your date.

How far ahead should we book?

A week is ideal. That gives us time to prepare the flower or the candle and to hold the right slot for you. If your date is sooner than that, message us anyway and we will see what we can do.

What can we make?

Pottery hand building, the pottery wheel, ceramic painting, or a scented candle. Hand building and painting leave the most room for talking; the wheel asks for more concentration but almost everyone leaves wanting another go. The candle is the only one that comes home with you the same day.

When do we get our pieces?

Pottery is fired twice with glazing in between, so finished pieces are ready about two to three weeks later. We message you on WhatsApp as soon as they come out of the kiln. Candles leave with you on the day.

The pieces always come out a little crooked. That is usually the part people end up loving.
